Dr. Melani Ozbolt, Ph.D.

Dr. Ozbolt is a licensed psychologist with the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology (License # 2262), and the owner of New Heights Psychology, LLC. Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Berry College. Dr. Ozbolt completed a full-time doctoral residency serving the students at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Both her Ph.D. program and residency were accredited by the American Psychological Association. Dr. Ozbolt has 14 years of experience working in a variety of professional settings including community mental health, the VA, and university counseling centers. Dr. Ozbolt specializes in individual therapy with adults, couples therapy, group therapy with adults, and community outreach. She strives to get to know her clients’ individual needs, and to work with them to create a therapeutic approach that focuses on their unique strengths, situations, and personalities. Her aim is to build a therapeutic relationship where her clients feel truly understood and respected. From there, her clients can strive to reach new heights towards healing from the challenges they have experienced, and obtaining mental health and personal goals that will help them thrive. Dr. Ozbolt also has a passion for outreach, supervision, and consultation. She enjoys helping other mental health professionals gain new skills, offering guidance for counselors in training, and conducting workshops on mental health topics to the broader community.

Natalie Munoz, M.Ed.

Natalie Munoz is a therapist with a specialization in educational psychology. She is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University, holds a master's degree in education, and a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Natalie has a vast knowledge of the intersection between education and psychology, and she is also certified in PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), which allows her to work with parents and children to develop stronger relationships and manage difficult behaviors. Additionally, Natalie conducts psychoeducational evaluations to identify potential learning or developmental challenges that could affect a person's academic or professional progress. Natalie's approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, and she is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all her clients.
